We didn’t know either. Dayma can take you on bird watching tours in the Nile. In the early hours of a Friday many months ago, we met up on Cornish el Maadi where a boat took us out into calm waters. For the next few hours, we took to binoculars to watch birds of all sizes and shapes living and thriving right in the middle of the city. The experience was pure bliss. The boat, like most nile boats, had a giant bird holding a pipe on the front. The perfect detail to remember the day with.
